

Valve hasn't said anything on their official channels yet, but as far as I'm concerned, something is coming and it's extremely unlikely that Jaiz would throw his reputation in the trash for the sake of a prank. Valve News Network isn't always 100% right, but they have inside sources and a long track record of leaking correct information: Half-Life: Alyx was leaked, the canceled Left 4 Dead 3 was leaked, and many more.

These servers are running an updated version of Left 4 Dead 2 not available to the public, and the map name is syntax for "campaign 14, map 1, lighthouse." To summarize, Valve has been hosting official private servers for months. The "happenings" our host Tyler is referring to were covered in previous videos on his channel. All of the happenings that have been going on on the official side of Left 4 Dead 2's servers - both on Steam and the community - have pointed towards work being done, and this teaser shows that work in some form. I will be keeping everyone in the loop on exactly what is going on here, but all I can say is this video, this teaser trailer, is completely legitimate. Some folks are doubting the authenticity of this teaser trailer (fair enough at first glance), so I'd like to share a statement from the channel Valve News Network regarding the video:
